Stone of Tears is the second book in the Sword of Truth series, written by Terry Goodkind. The veil of the Underworld has been and its up to Richard Cypher [Rahl] is taken the Palace of Prophets, by the Sisters of the Light, where Richard must learn to use his new found power. Only by fulling the prophecy can Richard, seal the veal and bring the The Keeper back into the underworld with the Stone of Tears.
Like 'Wizards First Rule' there are part of the books that drag on and you wish that you could just fast forward, but the more you read the story the better it gets. There were plenty of O-M-G moments, that I won't spoil but I will say that there is one that had my stomach turning because of what happened, I felt the pain that could be caused.
This is a book that is a great read and would recommend to anyone who loves the whole Fantasy genre. I do however only suggest young-adults read this book due to some of the language and scenes that take place in the book.
